The Cairns 24 Hour Medifcal Centre is open until 11.00 pm avery night. And so, the times we are not there generally represent an occasional inconvenience more so than anything else.
We Bulk Bill for 100% of the time that we are there.
An after-hours consultation rate applies to our private patients for;
Consultations that commence after 6.00 pm on a weekday;
- Consultations that commence after 6.00 pm of a weekday;
- All day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
After Hours Emergencies
We recognise that medical situations develop after hours. If you are dealing with a medical emergency, think safety first. Contact the Ambulance on 000, or make alternate arrangements that meet your needs of the time.
The Cairns 24 Hour Medical Centre has a doctor on-call to cover 100% of the social and 100% of the unsocial after-hours periods.
